Return Policy

At GlobalDroner.com, we handle precision-engineered UAV technology. Due to the high value and technical complexity of our products, our return policy is designed to protect both the integrity of our flight equipment and our customers' investments.

1. The "Activation" Rule (Strict)

Activated products are non-returnable. Drones, flight controllers, and high-end gimbal systems that have been registered, activated via any app (such as DJI Fly, etc.), or have recorded flight data are considered "Used." Once a product is activated, the original manufacturer’s warranty begins, and the item cannot be resold as new. Therefore, we cannot accept returns for any activated equipment unless a verifiable hardware manufacturing defect is present.

2. Return Eligibility by Product Category

To optimize global logistics, we categorize our inventory into two types. Your return terms will depend on the origin of the specific item:

  • Category A (Standard Stock): For items fulfilled via our Local Rapid-Response Warehouses, we offer standard return windows. If you are unsatisfied, you may return these items within 14 days of receipt.

  • Category B (Global Specialty Parts): For specific professional components and International Direct-Ship items (often specialized DIY parts or bulk components), returns are accepted under the condition that the customer covers all international return shipping fees and any associated import duties.

3. Condition Requirements

For all eligible returns, the item must be:

  • Brand New & Unopened: Factory seals must be intact.

  • Non-Soldered: Any electronic component (ESC, FC, Motors) that shows signs of soldering or mounting will be rejected.

  • Complete: All original manuals, accessories, and promotional gifts must be included.

4. Technical Inspection & Restocking Fee

All returns undergo a rigorous technical inspection by our engineering team.

  • If a return is requested for "Change of Mind" on a high-value item, a 15% - 20% restocking fee may apply to cover the loss of testing and re-certification.

  • If the item is found to be used, crashed, or damaged by the user, the return will be denied, and the item will be shipped back to the customer at their expense.

5. Dead on Arrival (DOA)

If your product is defective out of the box, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We will require video evidence of the defect to initiate a priority replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.

How to Initiate a Return

Please contact info@globaldroner.com with your Order Number and the serial number (S/N) of the device. Our team will provide the appropriate return address based on your product category.
